Meta is decreasing the payout threshold for producers and introducing new options to monetize content on Facebook. Along with an update that enables creators to receive payments more quickly, Meta is launching additional methods for people to make money on Facebook.

To entice users to buy Stars, Meta has enabled Stars on all publicly accessible Facebook content, including Reels, and is holding events all throughout the month.

Meta is also lowering the requirement that authors must meet to receive their first payout.

These improvements may result in higher and quicker payouts

  • Creators in the test group will be eligible to obtain Stars on all public work.
  • The best way to think of Stars is as Facebook’s answer to Bits on Twitch or SuperChats on YouTube.
  • They are digital gifts that allow creators to receive real money.
  • The goal of Meta is to increase public awareness of the digital gifting system by extending Stars to all creator content.
  • It is implementing multiple campaigns to that objective.

  • The payment requirement for further Facebook monetization products will be lowered by Meta in the upcoming weeks.

4. More Restricted Tests

To increase the possibilities for creators on the network to make money, Meta is testing several features across Facebook.

The Tests Consist Of:

1. Free Stars: To send on qualified creators’ Facebook Reels, Meta is offering select fans free Stars. The more Reels you post, the more likely you are to get selected for the test.

2. Facebook Reels ads: Meta is still testing Facebook Reels ads with a few global artists. Advertisements that are placed immediately on top like a banner are called overlay ads, and ads that appear after a reel loops are called post-loop ads.

3. Subscription: Meta adding additional, simpler methods for creators to advertise Facebook subscriptions. Viewers may now subscribe while watching content on Facebook Watch thanks to a new “Subscribe” button.
